I will stamp all over 'serious fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming boxing match.

Former two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

Despite those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather targeted former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters participated in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually happening.
